What's happening

 

My name is Sue Nevins and I have been a bookseller since 1992. Currently, I am working at Mockingbird Books, 7220 NE Woodlawn NE, Seattle on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 2:30 pm to 7 pm and Saturdays, 11am to 3pm. I attend all author events and other events listed below, too. Please come and ask for me during these hours. I hope to see you soon at Mockingbird Books. Mockingbird Books phone is (206) 518-5886. Mockingbird Books has storytime every morning at 11 am Monday - Saturday!

Let me customize your child's reading plan for you. Just print the custom reading plan flyer and fill it out and bring it into the bookstore, Mockingbird Books. Usually I am able to complete the form and return it to the customer within a few days (3-4).

Local author, Michael de Guzman will talk to Mockingbird Books Graphic novel book group about writing and his books. Michael de Guzman has written 5 children books and their titles are: Bamboozlers, Beekman's Big Deal, Finding Stinko, MelonHead, and his newest book, Henrietta Hornbuckle's Circus of Life. Written in a fourth to fifth grade reading level and full of colorful and delightful lead characters;de Guzman's books are enjoyed equally by parents and their children. They are great selections for family read alouds. Please come and join us for informative and fun loving evening with local author Michael de Guzman.
